Nevada man injured in one-vehicle wreck

Cory Hood, 42, of Nevada, received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle wreck on Quail Road, 2 miles southwest of Nevada Friday morning.

Hood's 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report.

Hood was taken to Nevada Regional Medical Center.
