The Community Council on the Performing Arts kicks off the 2014-15 season with Ellen Simon's dramatic comedy "Moonlight and Valentino."

The story follows the life of college poetry professor Rebecca Trager Lott after her husband is killed during a jogging accident. Moonlight and Valentino is under the direction of Lynda Jones; the cast features Kim Bessey, Jane Ann Hancock, Stephanie Mosbrucker, Jenna Weston, and Zach Shepard. Please note this production contains some adult content.

There will be six performances over two weekends. The show opens this weekend with performances Friday, and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. The play will again be performed Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. There is a charge for admission.
