Christmas lighting ceremony tonight

Lights at the Lake, the drive-through Christmas light display at Radio Springs Park, opens for the 2016 Christmas season with the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree at 6 tonight.

Following the tree lighting ceremony the light display will be open for people to take a leisurely stroll around the lake and enjoy the lights before it is opened for cars.

The light display will be open from dusk until 10 p.m., nightly, weather permitting through Dec. 31.

Admission is free, but donations are appreciated with money collected split between volunteer groups that are there each night and the city.
